Whether moving forward an agenda of drug-related science or guiding young PhD scientists-in-the making, whether giving patients specialised pharmacy care or preparing a new generation of Masters in Pharmacy graduates, the School is focused on preserving and improving the quality of human life. As the country's top-ranked pharmacy school, it is succeeding. All students at present who complete a primary degree in pharmacy in Ireland must complete their final year in the RCSI. This final year leads to the award of a Masters in Pharmacy. This qualification is international portable and will allow you to apply to register as a pharmacist both in European Union Countries and internationally.

The programme that we offer is exciting, dynamic and innovative. We employ novel teaching methodologies to drive learning. Class sizes are small with up to 30% of the class comprising of graduate and international students, which offers a unique flavour and global perspective.

You will experience interprofessional education in order to prepare you for delivery of team-based healthcare. Your learning will be contextualised by structured clinical placements in our 200 Associated-Faculty of pharmacists. You will be invited to travel to other European centres of excellence through the RCSI Erasmus programme.

We look forward to welcoming you to our College.
